About our speakers:
Andy Cameron – Senior Benefits Advisor at the United States Department of Labor:
Mr. Andy Cameron is a Senior Benefits Advisor at the United States Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). Andy advises plan participants, plan sponsors and service providers on a wide range of health and retirement plan issues. Andy regularly speaks to public and private organizations about ACA, MHPAEA, HIPAA, COBRA and relevant retirement plan regulations. Andy has worked at EBSA since 2006. He has served as both a Benefits Advisor and an Investigator, and has audited health and retirement benefit plans.
Before joining EBSA, Andy worked in human resources for more than 5 years. He obtained the Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute as well as the Competent Toastmaster designation from Toastmasters International. Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Purdue University, a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Washington, and a law degree from Seattle University. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Washington.
John Walch – Shareholder - Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar:
John Walch advises plan sponsors and service providers about risk and compliance issues for all types of qualified and non-qualified benefit plans, including qualified retirement plans, ESOPs, pension and welfare benefit plans and deferred compensation plans.
When he is not helping plan sponsors and administrators efficiently run their benefit plans, John like to hike Utah’s mountains, read spy thrillers and yell at his television while watching college football games.
Kyle Coffey – Wealth Management Consultant:
Kyle Coffey is a wealth management consultant at Capital Group, home of American Funds, covering Utah and Southern Nevada. He has 13 years of industry experience, all with Capital Group. Earlier in his career at Capital, Kyle covered North Carolina, South Carolina and the Atlanta metropolitan area. Before that, he worked as an area sales representative. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. Kyle is based in American Fork, Utah.
